Delete your account and data

Applies to the Trimly — Barber & Salon Booking app (com.trimly.trimly on Google Play, com.akshaykotish.trimly on the App Store), published by Akshay Lakshay Kotish Private Limited.

Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app

Open the Trimly app and sign in with your phone number.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and profile are removed straight away, and you are signed out on every device.

Option 2 — ask us by email

If you can't reach the app — or you've already uninstalled it — email us and we'll do it for you:

Send it with the subject “Delete my Trimly account” and include the phone number you registered with. We reply within 3 business days to confirm the request, and the deletion is completed within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from that number so nobody else can delete your account.

What gets deleted, and what we keep

Data	What happens
Name, phone number, sign-in	Deleted. Your Firebase Authentication record is removed, so the number can no longer sign in.
Profile photo and any photos you uploaded (saloon covers, menu items, review photos)	Deleted.
AI hairstyle try-on selfies	Nothing to delete. Selfies are processed once and never stored by Trimly.
Saved addresses, favourites, app preferences	Deleted.
Your saloons, menus and chairs (barber accounts)	Deleted and de-listed from the app.
Bank payout details (barber accounts)	Deleted once any pending settlement has been paid out.
Completed bookings, invoices and payment records	Anonymised, not deleted. Your name and phone number are stripped, but the transaction record stays as the saloon's business record — Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep it for 8 years.
Card / UPI details	We never had them. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay; Trimly never sees or stores payment instruments.

Deletion is permanent. There's no undo and no way to restore a deleted account — booking history, reviews and saloon listings are gone for good. If you sign up again later with the same phone number, you start with a brand-new empty account.
